We pay cash and offer trading credit up to 30%, based on the condition of your books and how fast we think we can sell them.
- Books we buy: Everything, but especially Indigenous (BC, and Pacific Northwest), literature, philosophy, gender and sexuality, critical race studies, classics, rare and antiquarian.
- Consignment: for rare and valuable books we’ll take your books on consignment and sell them based on a mutually agreed upon price, and provide you with a larger percentage of the profits.
- Collections and estates: having a large warehouse affords us the ability to purchase entire collections. We buy full collections outright, package and move the books ourselves. It’s not uncommon for us to package up collections of 10,000 books or more, so don’t hesitate to contact us!
- Rare and Special Collections: we partner with long-standing professional booksellers in the community to ensure our prices meet market standards.
To sell, bring your used, collectible, and rare books into the store Mondays between 10 am – 4 pm to speak with our book buyer or drop them off another day and we will follow up later in the week. Have a large collection? Send us an email at [email protected] to organize a time or a house call.
