Kennedy Telford in the Massy Gallery

East Vancouver-based artist Kennedy Telford, designer at Oscar&Kennedy, half of East Van Kitchen, and co-founder of WRKS DVSN, will be exhibiting in the Massy gallery starting August 16th.
The show is a series of portable shrines that pay tribute to mythological images and artists who’ve worked with those images.
With the exception of two paintings, Telford has assembled every piece out of pre-existing materials, paying homage to such influences as Baroness Elsa Von Freytag-Loringhoven, Bruce Nauman, Olafur Eliasson, Le Corbusier, and Tom Sachs.
